Information We Collect
GlowCare collects information you provide directly, including your name, email address, skin profile preferences, and beauty product data. We also collect usage data to improve the app experience.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide personalized skincare recommendations, track your beauty routine, calculate your Glow Score, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with enterprise-grade security. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
AI Features
GlowCare uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) to analyze products and generate skincare recommendations. Product data may be sent to the AI provider for processing. No personally identifiable information is included in AI requests.
Camera Access
GlowCare requests camera access solely to scan product barcodes and identify beauty products. Photos are processed locally or sent to our AI service for identification only. Photos are not stored on our servers.
Community Features
Content you post in the Community section (scores, tips, routines) is visible to other GlowCare users. You can delete your posts at any time.
Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your account data at any time through the Settings screen. To permanently delete all your data, contact us at glowcareapp.support@gmail.com.
Children's Privacy
GlowCare is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
